“Activity without purpose is the drain of your life.” (Tony Robbins) The purpose of me taking English Composition 101 is to earn credits. I need the credits so I can get into my actual college classes because my GPA was not high enough. Another reason for taking this class is to get better at my writing skills and understand new writing skills. Taking this course also counts towards my college classes. In this class, I hope to achieve a better understanding of the writing skills I need on a daily basis.

I also hope to get a good enough grade so then I get the credits I need and get started on my college classes as soon as possible. I believe that my personal contexts relate to class because at the end of the day I am doing these classes to start a new chapter in my life. I am trying to help myself grow as a person and taking this course is going to help me do so. I do believe that this is a personal context situation because I am taking this classroom to achieve my own personal goals.

My primary purpose of this class is the grade and the credit that I get for the class. How do I know the primary purpose of taking this class is? I know this because of the fact that all I have talked about in the other two paragraphs is how to get the credits for the class. Also that how important it is to have a good grade in this class so I can move on to my college classes.
