Reflecting back on my past reading literacies, I see how each time I write on it. Gets better through the course. My grammar was improving And now I'm able to write down my ideas and organize matters. I'm not having a hard time getting enough information on the essay. I understand that assignment better when reading it because of the reading and writing skills I have learned in this course.
Now that I have gotten better, I approached the writing and reading tasks with more confidence. When I'm done reading the tasks, I then use the mind mapping strategy to help me get my ideas out. I'm understanding assignments a lot more than before. Now when I'm reading my assignment tasks or my writing assignments tasks I approach them as a writer instead of a reader. I will say that the one thing in this course that I really enjoyed learning about was how to connect with the correct audience in the correct context.
I do hope that in the future the things that I learned in this course will help me be able to explain myself in a better way. Even if I am just writing on a piece of paper or through a text or an email I want to make sure I'm writing to the correct audience in the correct way. Since I have taken this course, I have used the new skills I learned in this course to help me better explain myself in my paperwork for my bosses. My reading and writing skills. Have changed my perspective on reading and writing in general. What I mean by this is when I'm trying to explain to someone else about what I read think about how I'm going to explain it to them as if they were my audience. The overall learning experience I had taking this course was better understanding how to explain myself to the people I'm talking to AKA the audience.
